For most Chinese, Africa seems in far distant and full of mysterious.By restoring the raw scenes of the African savanna, in the Shandong Museum’s exhibition of “African Wildlife Grand Migration”, the magnificent scenario of animals’ migration presents which makes audiences feeling on the magic and charm of ancient Africa.

There is only the change between wet season and dry season on African savanna. With rare threes among endless grassy prairie, only to see baobab and acacia threes in distance. Savanna has spawned a wild variety of wild animals: African elephants – the biggest animals on the land; cheetah which is the fastest runner in the world; also have lions which are known as “the king of the beasts” etc.. And reproduce a lot of different types hoofed animals in grassland. Many of them have the habit to migrate with the seasons.

In the dry season, dead threes and further weeds is everywhere on the Serengeti Plain. The eatable grass and water are less and less. So the larger migration troops which are consisted of wildebeest, zebra and antelope are heading towards Masai Mara in Kenya to Serengeti of Tanzania.

Any migration is dangerous, but those migrating wildebeest regardless of the danger, many animals have become the feast of lions, cheetahs and hyenas. After a long journey, they rush to the biggest challenge – the Mara river. It maybe a fatal for wildebeests to cross the river, they may die in the muddy cliff, and they may also become the meal of river crocodile. But more wildebeest conquer the danger in Mara River, then running towards the vision paradise.

It is the rainy season in Masai Mara in Kenya territory at this time, enough water and food comes from monsoon winds torrential rain of the East India Ocean, which makes the grassland of East Africa become “the Garden of Eden”.

In the savanna, animals and environment, animals and animals follow an important law of nature – harmonious coexistence. No matter confrontation or cooperation, all lives reached a perfect coexistence on this land.
